This Lent, don’t give up something, take up something! During Lent, our #LiveTheBible series will bring you a Bible passage and something practical you can do to help you live out that reading each day. Take up the #LiveTheBible challenge to renew your mind and transform your life…
Day 34
Read the Bible: Acts 2:42–47
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts+2%3A42–47&version=NIV
#LiveTheBible
Arrange to meet up with someone from your church for coffee, lunch or a walk. There doesn’t need to be an agenda for your time together. However, if you’re normally negative about your church, focus on the positive. If you’re normally pessimistic about your church’s future, be optimistic!
Share the Bible
Don’t keep this to yourself, share our #LiveTheBible series with others so that they too can start a great new habit this Lent.
